Un Automne à Strasbourg (Part Une)

A collection of pictures taken the first half of my stay in Alsace.

Maman touching the Hand of God chez un chocolatier in Zurich, Switzerland. The God in question weighs 4.3kg (9.5lbs) and cost $130. Well worth it if you ask me: Le Toblerone, c'est le meilleur!
L'Île, the river encircling downtown Strasbourg
La Petite France, Strasbourg's oldest neighborhood
The cobblestones of Place Benjamin Zix, in la Petite France
This gentillehomme brings the "bourgeois" in Strasbourgeois
A typical Alsacian landscape in the wine country of Barr
La belle Marie et Dorothée: Strasbourg's finest. Le Gymnase Jean Sturm sure produced some fine, well-adapted individuals
The people of Barr are ebullient as the town is celebrating la Fête des Vendanges
I don't just take pictures, I create artful memories
A common sight in France: The Citroën DS, one of France's most iconic car

JR, the flammekueche and Kronenbourg's 1664 are the best Alsace has to offer (in that order)
The World Rally Championship stopped in Strasbourg for the French stage of the competition. Hosting the Rallye de France brought Strasbourg and seven-time world champ Sébastien Loeb (a local boy mind you) in the limelight
