The Craigslist Game: Automobile Edition

Very much like the furniture game, the car game car be highly rewarding, pending on finances. This Bourgeois de Bonne Famille is on the quest for the perfect ride. An automobile tells the story of who you are. A cautious person will drive a Volvo. A Republican will drive a Hummer. It's been well documented that strippers have a love affair with Camaros of all generation, and even though it is only hearsay, but according to my sources, this tradition is very much alive.

I, however, must rise above stereotypes, cautiousness, regards of the climbing gas prices. I range from late 70's Italian Retro (Fiat Spyder) to late 60's/early 70's Detroit Muscle. I am determined to keep my eyes on the prize and to find the perfect car on Craigslist. I'll be showing you some of the most unforgettable postings I have come across. What constitute a great posting is the quality/rarity of the vehicle, in relation to its price.

The best example of it is this 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 455, located in the Los Angeles area, and listed at $16,500. What a deal! Notice the shaves door handles. I would trade my dreams of a '69 Charger for this beauty.

Ok, It's been a while since I spotted a good deal, but check out this absolute gem on Craigslist San Diego: 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000. Rust free; matching number; 130 horse power. Absolute beauty to drive for $19,000 (listing price).
